In this project, we developed a mood board and furniture layout for a multifunctional home office space. Although it’s a single room, the goal was to create distinct atmospheres through a combination of colors, lighting, and arrangement: a zone for focused work, a spot for brief meetings, and a corner for relaxation.
As part of interior design, we also develop the visual and conceptual foundations of a space through mood board presentations combined with furniture layouts. This stage of the process involves carefully selecting materials, colors, textures, and furniture, defined according to functional requirements and the desired atmosphere of the space.
A mood board is not just a collage of images—it is a tool for communicating atmosphere, a starting point for further design development, and a means to align with the client’s expectations. Alongside this, we create a furniture layout that logically follows the space’s function, circulation flow, and hierarchy of elements.
This phase of the project represents the first concrete visualization of the future environment and is often a crucial step in making decisions that will shape the further design process.

Through carefully selected materials and tones, we defined the atmosphere of the space, while the furniture layout logically followed the functional needs and daily rhythm of the user. By adjusting the lighting and using varied textures, the space gains dynamism while maintaining the balance and comfort essential for everyday remote work.
